Tyla-Jade Spike

Tyla-Jade Spike is a compassionate and dedicated physiotherapist with a deep-seated passion for helping individuals navigate their healing journeys. With a BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Cape Town (2017) and a commitment to continuous learning, she believes in the power of personalized care, working closely with patients to support and empower them through every phase of rehabilitation.

Tyla-Jade completed her community service year in 2018 at Tembisa Hospital in Gauteng and has since worked in private practice involved in paediatric pulmonary physiotherapy as well as neuromusculoskeletal and orthopaedic rehabilitation. She has also completed Dry Needling Level 1 and Level 2 and finished in the Top 10 in her post-graduate diploma: Advanced Neuromuscular Skeletal Physiotherapy Course.

Tyla has a special interest in many areas of physiotherapy. These include paediatric respiratory; adult cardiopulmonary; neurological; and neuromusculoskeletal rehabilitation. Her focus in these areas reflects her dedication to providing care that addresses both acute and long-term needs. She is committed to uplifting individuals, helping them rebuild strength, regain mobility, and embrace life with renewed vitality.

Tyla-Jade joined Claire Kourie Physiotherapists Inc. in 2022, and she has proven herself to be a true asset to our team. Her goal is to expand her skills in orthopedic, neuromusculoskeletal, and pulmonary physiotherapy. She is an enthusiastic, caring, compassionate, and dedicated therapist who has a passion for serving her patients and their families to the best of her ability.
